Saturday 21 July Queensland Alumina Limited Tour:

Monday 23 July at MWT 2018:
Your day at Mine Waste and Tailings begins with a welcome from the conference chair and keynote presentation on co-disposal of tailings and waste rock.
This is followed by other keynote presentations and expert panel discussions on topics such as tailings dewatering, implications of NPV and a high discount factor, resilience assessments for risk management of tailings dams, and static liquefaction.
Tuesday 24 July at MWT 2018:
Day two starts with a keynote presentation on trends in tailings management followed by concurrent sessions on topics such as governance and management of tailings or emerging technologies.

Wednesday 25 July at LOM 2018:
With an official conference opening and welcome from the conference chair, your day one at Life-Of-Mine begins with a plenary session on raising the standard in mine site restoration and agromining. There will be a Queensland government panel discussion in the afternoon focusing on innovation for delivering better sustainability outcomes.
Thursday 26 July at LOM 2018:
You will hear from keynote speakers and presentations on topics such as Olympic Dam mine closure planning process and Mount Isa mines rehabilitation materials sampling and analysis program for closure planning.
Friday 27 July at LOM 2018:
The last day of the conference week will be about incorporating societal and community factors into design and operation and influences of global trends on the future of the industry. You can make use of a final opportunity to network with exhibitors, speakers and committee members in the conference lunch and closing ceremony.
